Dock's Beach House - Port Clinton

This restaurant and bar boasts a spacious, airy atmosphere right by the lake, offering beautiful views. The staff was both prompt and exceptionally friendly. I highly recommend the fish tacos made with perch; they were delicious, with flavors that blended perfectly. The tortilla chips were store-bought but still quite tasty. The queso was enjoyable, though it was a bit mild for my taste. The salsa was also good, albeit on the milder side as well (I prefer a spicier salsa).

We’re up north (well, if Ohio counts as north) in Lake County, and I’m in search of a good walleye dinner. It shouldn’t be too difficult to find, right? But why did my walleye arrive looking like it had just swum onto the plate? I ordered it broiled, not boiled! I did my best to salvage the dish by squeezing some lemon into it and adding a bit of the white wine sauce from the mussels (which were quite good), along with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Thank goodness for the mussels from PEI! I think we might need to venture further north, perhaps to Michigan or Minnesota, to find that perfect walleye dinner. Onward!

This is a lovely restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere right by the beach. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as seating directly on the sand. After your meal, you can relax in some lounge chairs on the beach. The food and drinks are delicious and hearty, and the staff is friendly and attentive.

View was great, our server was great.... unfortunately that was it. The bugs flying around your face and food ruined the evening. A couple fans around would keep the bugs away from guest but not a one to be found to help. We had so so ribs (meatwas to dry) and the rib eye was the worst piece of meat I've ever tried to eat. Guess we have gone with fish meals instead.

Open and airy restaraunt and bar directly at the lake, so good looking. the staff was fast and very friendly. the fish tacos with cash were excellent, aromen melt and complicate each other. the tortilla chips were busy, but good. the queen was good, but a little mild for me. the salsa was also good, but also a touch mild (I like spicy salsa.)
