Lure Restaurant And Bar

I came to this restaurant as a second choice after receiving terrible service from On the Inlet not far away from this restaurant. Turns out this restaurant should have been my first choice! The service was impeccable from the moment I was greeted. The food itself was decent but the service is what made the difference and made the experience very enjoyable. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a good fish and chip and great service!

A gentle sea breeze with a few glasses of white gently rocked the taste beds. The prawn and crab salad, the fish was fresh and the ambience felt like a it was a beautiful resort, as it should be. Recommend everything on the menu. The service is pleasant. The sunshine gently warming with the food taste still lingering to dance with the senses. Very enjoyable.

Stopped here for a cocktail after wandering around Port Douglas for a few hours. Nice spot next to the wharf where all the dive boats dock. Our cocktails came in fancy jars and seemed to have a good amount of alcohol. You can order at the bar and then they bring the cocktails over when they're ready so you don't have to wait at the bar which is a nice touch.

Food was good but service was lacking. Scallops were a little salty taste fish and chips were pretty good. Took a while to get someone to take our order due to what seemed like short staffing no one checked on us after our food was dropped.

Went here for a drink and got a table overlooking the marina. Great place to chill and people watch (as people get on and off the boats). The cocktails were great too!
