Love Chapter One.they do it how they want it.new smoke house 2019,service is fantastic,menu is waaay above anything around,artisan tasty visualy creative with everything.try pork rillettes,black butter,cobia hit the cauliflower/wholemeal pancakes at breakfast.a must go eat experience

The whole experience was outstanding. Darren was incredibly accommodating with the ambiance, menu selection, wine expertise, engaging conversation, and the flavors in each dish. We enjoyed a meal on our last day together, and it was truly fantastic! The flavors were incredible, and the prices were very reasonable. The steaks were buttery and tender, and the dessert was simply out of this world. My only complaint is that I wished there was more!

The best dining experience we found in Port Douglas! This restaurant rivals any in Melbourne or Sydney. While our overall dining experiences in Port Douglas have been marked by good food at steep prices, Chapter One was a refreshing change. Here, we enjoyed top-notch meals at reasonable prices. It easily offered the highest quality dining we've encountered in Port Douglas, making the short drive from town well worth it. They specialize in premium beef, and we were fortunate to sample a 7+ steak that was incredibly tender and among the best I've ever had. The chef truly knows his craft, and the smoker and menu were impressive. With an excellent wine selection, we truly appreciated the attentive service we received.

The entire experience was super, Darren was very courteous with setting, menu, wine knowledge, entertainment and flavors in any dish.
