When my husband asked him, he said what I said, bars turned off ****. now my husband is a diabetist so he doesn't drink much and was quite sober, although I had a few in the night. he brought choir chairs that ran to something or something else. he then came to one of the tables next to us shortly before 12 o'clock and said properly drink their drinks and F**k off. we decided that it was time to go as I was quite upset. such a beautiful night to this point ruined by a very rude man who should not work in any kind of industry that has to do with people. we often come to port douglas and will never return to this place, which is a shame, as everything else was good. when we left, I told another patron who stood in the door what had happened. they gave me a knowledgeable look and said yes, he can be. we should submit a proper complaint, but we did not want to come back under any circumstances, whatever
We have dined a week at night and the pub was busy, but it's so bad not to find any dramas with a table. Despite the busy evening, our food was delivered to our table after order. veggie nachos and veggie pizza were absolutely tasty, which is...always a beautiful surprise in a pub. also another plus, big screen tw play shrek 2, how could it be better?
Great food and service at an affordable price. The venue is excellent, especially the beer garden. You won't leave hungry with their generous portions.
After waiting 1.5 hours for dinner, we were incredibly disappointed with the basic and outdated atmosphere at this restaurant. The menu was uninspired and overall, we do not recommend dining here. Unfortunately, with limited options in Port Douglas due to other restaurants being fully booked and operating on limited days and hours, our experience was a shocking catastrophe.
There are plenty of seating choices available, but my favorite was sitting on the outdoor deck. I highly suggest trying the southern chicken burger - it was absolutely delicious with the onion rings and deep fried jalapenos.
