Let me first state that there is construction being done outside of the restaurant to improve the condition of the restaurant. I think I was pleasantly surprised because I had no expectations going into this restaurant. I have the bacon cheeseburger and french fries and it was outstanding. The burger itself was delicious adding the cheese in the bacon the french fries even better. I would recommend this place to eat while you are in Port Hood, NS.

We called at the last minute and not only did they accept us to go have supper after they had a very full day, and this just one hour before closing, but served us an amazing meal. We went there on November fifth and we're so lucky to have found that place. Thank you. Tonie and Al.

The Admiral is worth stopping to enjoy visiting with the owner, Katrina The fish and chips were good. An enjoyable local place to eat.

A small pub/restaurant. Pleasant, friendly staff, home from home! To be completely honest my expectations were of a regular pub with pub grub. However....the best Fish and Chips that I've had since I left England! I would thoroughly recommend this pub!

Pranzo a Port Hood dopo il viaggio verso Cap Breton Island. Cheeseburger con insalata in questo locale un po' ameno. Senza infamia e senza lode ma buono per un pranzo veloce.Un po' caro.
