Went there for dinner with my kids and my Mother-in-law. The place looked clean, bright and airy, there was live music on Friday, was nice. Just like most reviews below, we had to wait for everything: drink, extra napkins, ketchup, wasn’t bothered by it as much since you could tell the place was very short staffed, there was no hostess and the waiter taking our order kept looking at the front door as he was taking the order. My chicken broccoli rub sandwich was good, the other sandwich was okay as well. My son ordered a blue cheese burger that he normally likes, couldn’t finish it because the blue cheese was overpowering and the patty wasn’t seasoned and was bland. The biggest issue was with my daughter’s spaghetti and meatballs, she is little, so when she first said she didn’t like it, I brushed it off, when she said it again, i tasted it and it tasted like pasta with a watered down tomato sauce from a can, it was truly not good at all. The bus boy came over, we told him the issue, he disappeared, came back 5 min later, said the sauce was fine, but he needs to get the waiter. The waiter came back another 5~7 min later with an attitude, said everyone in the back tasted their Marinara and it was good, asked what he can bring instead. I asked for plain pasta with butter. Took 20 min to bring it the table, he slammed the plate on the plate in front of my daughter, walked away with saying a word or even looking at us. We asked for a check and I was shocked to see he charged for the substitute kids pasta, $20 for 2 plates of kids spaghetti! Brought to his attention, he took it off the bill. It felt like it was added to the bill hoping we wouldn’t notice. I can handle extra wait when short staffed, but not the attitude from the wait staff especially towards my daughter . The $3 tip reflected the service. To my huge huge surprise, the waiter followed me and my kids outside to my car to question the $3 tip!!!! never in my life has a waiter followed me outside the restaurant!!!!! i explained that my daughter‘s food was was not good and it took them 30 min to bring her another plate!!! Anyone who has little kids can understand how that felt. He continued fighting me and trying to prove his point that the sauce was good and we had to wait for the extra plate of food so long because “they don’t have pasta just laying around”.I am not sure if the waiter was the owner of the place, or he was just extremely on the edge for being short staffed, but that was not a way to treat a young woman who came for dinner with her 2 children and Mother-in-law.I think the restaurant has a potential but needs more staff and proper training.
Came here for lunch and it was fantastic. Loved everything about this place. Music was at a perfect volume…and music I liked. Food was what I came for and my wife and I wasn’t disappointed. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone…also a shout out to Justin our server. Great job bro!
Our server was manning the whole front of the pub by himself, and he did the best he could manage. He was super friendly and did whatever he could. The loaded fries were a mess and were visually unappealing, along with the pork being in a hardened chunk on the top. Also, everything is sold separately, so the price goes up and ends up racking up quickly. The bathrooms were very dirty and had no toilet paper in the women's bathroom. I had to go into another bathroom to grab a roll so my children could use the bathroom. There was a think gray ring of dirt inside the toilet, which means it hasn't been cleaned well in a long time.
We randomly stumbled on this place yesterday and they were amazing! It was my 21st, and they made what was supposed to be a simple lunch super fun. Plus the food was amazing we had to take what was left home with us. Very much recommend!
