Chili's Grill - Portage

There was a hair on my garlic bread , noticed it right away. Returned it. They remade my Cajun chicken pasta, since I'm a vegetarian I replaced the chicken with broccoli. Absolutely no flavor and dry. One plus , our southern speaking waitress wasawesome!

I know about short staffed and all, but December 24, 2021, I was here and actually raved about the service and food. I have loved this place forever, but after our experience on Friday, I am not likely to ever return unless someone else gives a glowingreview. There were maybe 6 people in the whole restaurant and it took about an hour to get our food. The potato soup was thinwith no chunks of potatoes, the chicken and steak for our fajitas looked steamed and hacked into chunks instead of grilled andcut into strips, the vegs were mushy. The best part of the meal was the free chips and salsa. Our waitress was nice but notattentive, maybe having a bad or I don't really want to be here kind of day. So so disappointed. ????

I absolutely loved the steak! It was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The portion sizes were perfect, and every dish was packed with flavor. I’d rate it 4 stars and definitely recommend it. The service was fantastic—friendly and very attentive. Every meal we ordered was truly delicious.

Terrible Experience! Although the waiter was nice and friendly, the food was incredibly disappointing. The broth for the soup was cloudy, and the cup of chili arrived cold and was only warmed up to lukewarm. The fries were so flimsy they bent when I tried to pick them up. I sent them back for a new batch, but they were exactly the same. French fries should not be bendable! They should also have a little browning to indicate they’ve been cooked properly. My wife requested her burger to be "extremely well done," but what we got was medium rare. The Southwest egg rolls that came with the entrees would have been better suited as an appetizer. Overall, this was the worst meal I’ve had in a long time!

My wife and I absolutely love this place! We try to visit at least once every two weeks. Generally, the food is cooked to perfection. There was only one instance when my steak wasn’t prepared to my liking, but that was no big deal. I usually order the same dish every time, which you can see in the picture below. The staff is also fantastic, and their President Margaritas are amazing!
