Contribuisci feedbackWhile this restaurant has a very appealing atmosphere, which I'd rate a 10, the food leaves much to be desired. Unfortunately, it often seems frozen and varies depending on the timing of your visit. I've dined there multiple times, and as someone with years of experience in the restaurant industry, I found myself sending almost every meal back. The broccoli was mushy, and I once received a medium-rare filet that resembled a hockey puck. Even a burger, supposedly made fresh to order, failed to be cooked medium-rare, even after two attempts! So, overall, the food is simply terrible. However, I must give credit to the Craftsman Reuben—it's outstanding!
I dined at this restaurant once and never returned. In addition to the subpar service, I found my meal to be quite unsatisfactory. When I mentioned to the waitress that I was struggling to find any steak amidst the fat, her reply was, "That's what you should expect with that cut of meat." I've ordered the same cut elsewhere and never encountered an issue. I would have appreciated a simple apology for the meal not meeting my expectations, but I didn't receive even that.
My husband and I visited the restaurant last night for our date night, and we can't wait to go back! The food was absolutely delicious! I had the Cherry Plank Salmon, and I must say, it was the best salmon I've ever had. My husband used to order the Lobster Spaghetti at Olive Garden before they discontinued it, and he’s missed it ever since. So when he spotted the Lobster Shrimp Alfredo on the menu here, he was thrilled to order it and was pleasantly surprised to find he liked this dish even more than his previous favorite! We chose to sit on the dining room side, and we're glad we did because it was quite noisy on the bar side. That was the only downside of our experience, as the noise level was pretty high. However, it doesn’t compare to how great the food was, so we’ll definitely be returning!
Terrible service we could not get waited on. Staff walked by us several times and helped other tables. After waiting for 20 minutes with no service, we left. We sent an email to the restaurant. The owner wrote us back, apologized and asked us for our name and address to send us a voucher for a free dinner. My husband and I were very pleased with the email and all was forgiven. Unfortunately, that was over 6 months ago and we have to receive anything from the restaurant. Seems that bad service and lying go hand in hand with this establishment. Do NOT waste your time or money.
I understand Craftsman owns East Egg and it was a delightful experience. Clean and great service!! Tiffany was our server and she was GREAT!!! We go all around Michigan as a group we call the Breakfast Club rating different breakfast stops. This one is super!!
