Los Amigos Mexican - Portage

We arrived about 4:30 pm. There were maybe customers at 5 tables. There were 6 servers sitting by the bar. Food took almost an hour to come out. When it did come out my order was completely wrong. Service was terrible. We will not be back.

The staff here don't seem to care about service. The server waited until after our food was brought out to inform us they were out of beans. One of the worst cheese enchiladas I've ever had, not even sure it had cheese in it. Will not be back.

I was trying to order a cheese,beef, and jalapeno quesadilla and the waiter simply couldn’t understand I was trying to say I tried to explain for a few minutes and gave up. The waiter barely knew English. Also they don’t know how to make a proper quesadilla they gave me 5% cheese and 95% beef. Horrible service horrible food. I was really disappointed about this:

First off, they don't have AC and keep the doors open. Had flys buzzing around while we were eating. brought us chips and salsa, but the bowls for the salsa were dirty, so we didn't try them. The soda tasted very syrupy. The main corse was very good. I have no complaints on that. Our server was very nice.

This restaurant chain has some very good daily specials advertised on their website for all of their restaurants. However, this particular location refuses to honor at least one of these specials. My experience was with Tuesdays discount on tacos. I haven’t tried the other items other days. I refuse to return to this location and will drive 2 miles out of my way to go to the next nearest location.
