Oakwood Bistro - Portage

This restaurant is highly overrated. I went back after three years, and my experience was just as disappointing. The service was terrible, all the food we ordered arrived cold, and we even had to request bread. I’m not sure what kind of establishment they aspire to be, but I won’t be returning. It seems like they might only provide good service to regular customers, well-dressed diners, or older patrons. What a shame.

There's a nice selection of beers on tap, and the wine and martini lists are impressive. The waitstaff is attentive and accommodating to your schedule. If you’re a regular, they’ll remember your name and your preferences. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit!
