We were very happy to enjoy a dinner here, thanks to family friends recommend and take us there. cooked from the hidden location to the beautiful, underlined modern/classical alentejo decoration to discover the impeccable hosting and service for curs after the cursor spent traditional alentejo dishes. to perfection, to the beautiful pumpkin desserts really, only the best desserts I have ever tasted for the extraordinary wine man, pleasant and error-free. Many thanks for creating such a beautiful memory of my first visit in my brother's new home. ingrid franclin
This restaurant is charming with warm welcome, excellent local cuisine and cheap prices. the owner is very friendly and cuts into parts to make them happy.
After the usual search for a place to eat on tripadvisor, we decide to go the #1 in Portel. What a great choice! We were the first to arrive around 8 pm. Were warmly received and decided to have dinner in the inner patio. To...start we have chosen the typical Açorda Alentejana (garlic and codfish), very tasty and comfort to the stomach. Then we had the bochechas de porco preto . What an amazing confort food. The sauce was a reduction of wine and the potato pure on the side has bits and peaces of ginger, a pleasant tasteful surprise. To finish the meal, we ordered the typical Siricaia which was very good. But the cherry on the top of the cake was the Pudim de Abobora (pumpkin pudding); for me one of the best desserts I had in a restaurant. This restaurant is definitely a great choice, I just regret is far from where we live.
