We went to the Waffle House while visiting Georgia, and I must say the food was awesome! The service was great. We we're greeted the moment we walked in with a few tables available to sit. Once we sat down, our waitress was ready to offer us some drinks. She also came by periodically to check if we needed anything else.Food: 5/5
Walked into this waffle house and there was no greeting. Tables were dirty and no one cleaned off the tables. Waited for several minutes to see if anyone would ask any questions or receive a greating. One person asked the people sitting down if they were dining in or taking out, but asked my party no questions. Low staff does not equate to poor customer. Waited a few more minutes, looked around and left. I've been a server and cleaning off a table doesn't take long. Sometimes people don't mind the wait when customer service is good. If I had not been to this location before when service was good and had low staff then, I would tell people never to go to this location. Maybe it was one off night. But horrible impression. I'll go to another location.
Food and service are usually great!! Have only had 1 time the food was only warm....every other time it's been spot on.Food: 4/5
Came to this location last night and it was my worse experience of any Waffle House I’ve ever visited. Super slow and waitress didn’t have a clue what she was doing. We arrived at 11:37am. My daughter got her order taken only minutes later, but mine wasn’t taken until 11:52pm; which was almost 20 minutes later… although I was standing right there. At 12:15am I see the cook place five boxes on the counter. I knew it couldn’t have been mine because although I ordered five meals, the food he placed on the trays wasn’t mine. At 12:30 am my daughter(who had gotten her food 10 minutes prior) asked were the five boxed our. The waitress said yes. The ENTIRE order was wrong, so we had to wait even longer. While waiting on the new order I decided to go ahead and pay for my food. Was told $67 which I thought was high. Once I finally got my food at 12:45 am, the waitress gave me my total again (not realizing that I already paid) which was $54. When I asked her why the price change and if I’d overpaid, her response was “I don’t know.” She didn’t have a clue what she was doing. By that time I was annoyed after being in the restaurant for more than an hour, which for a to-go order in the Waffle House is absurd. Then I got home to see that my hash browns were burnt. SmhThen the togo service charge and the to-go supply fee, Waffle House never has to worry about getting any more of my money. By my receipt, I paid more than $11 for placing a to-go order, which is more than I would have paid has I sat INSIDE the restaurant. If more people stop eating here due to this maybe they’ll change this because honestly it’s ridiculous.
