The Dining Room At Royal Sportsman

After an adventurous day at Zip World, we were quite hungry and in search of a hearty meal. We were not disappointed! The food was absolutely fantastic, and the staff were both helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for dinner. The Welsh steaks were amazing, and the homemade ice cream was simply delicious.

After being let down by the moorings in Borth-y-Gest, the Royal Sportsman Hotel came to the rescue and saved our day. They kindly accommodated 14 of us to celebrate a 40th birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic and beautifully presented, and the service was excellent in a relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely go back and wholeheartedly recommend it!

I've only been here twice, and I've loved it both times. The staff are all wonderful, and the food, along with the variety of options, is excellent. The rooms are clean and spacious, although the bathroom is a bit outdated, and it takes a little time for the hot water to come through in the shower. Other than that, I didn't encounter any issues. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Also from the large party of 12 on Monday. We had already walked into a pub just around the corner, only to be greeted with looks of youre not a local . It was all a little bit League of Gentleman . Further up the road we found the royal sportsman. The lady working the bar/waiting on and doing everything else made us feel very welcome. Considering the age of the building it 's all very clean and well laid out. Given the use of the lounge as we had many children was a a bonus for us, and the other diners. Food was fantastic. Best fish and chips I 've had. A very welcoming place and will be sure to return.
