I asked for lettuce, tomato, and mayo, but they wanted to charge me over $21. When I questioned the price difference, they explained it was due to the vegetables I requested. Charging an extra $6 for lettuce, tomato, and mayo on a sandwich seems outrageous to me.
I wish I could give half a star for the friendly staff, but unfortunately, my experience with the food was disappointing. I ordered two medium BLTs for $8.00 each, and after spending $25, I was served sandwiches with stringy bacon. We requested creamy Italian dressing for the sandwiches but were given some sort of Greek dressing instead, which I found unappetizing and nearly made me gag.
I waited over 20 minutes for four subs, and they were disappointing. Their version of a Cuban sub was simply pulled pork with chipotle mayo and three pickles—nothing like a traditional Cuban. They also forgot to add vinegar and olive oil to one of the Italian subs. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.
I can confidently say that the Cuban sandwich is one of the best I've ever tasted. You absolutely have to give it a try!
I ordered the Thursday Thanksgiving sandwich for dinner last night. When I got home, I found that it contained turkey lunchmeat instead of the homemade turkey that was advertised. There was no stuffing left, which was fine, but it didn’t feel like a real turkey sandwich. Is what was advertised online not available?
