Rocco's Little Italy - Portsmouth

We LOVED Rocco's when living in Portsmouth RI. Their Tuscan pizza is by far my favorite pizza in the world. Their garlic knots are to die for. Nowadays , when we find ourselves driving through Aquidneck Island we make it a point to stop and grab some garlic knots or grab dinner there. Lovely family business, great food, reasonable prices, and helpful staff.

If I could give more than five stars, I definitely would—I'd rate it a 5+. I grew up in a part of Pennsylvania where the local pizzeria was a big part of family life. From Friday nights to birthday parties, it was always a special place. This restaurant is just that. The pizza is fantastic, and the people are wonderful. I fell in love with this place while I was living in Portsmouth after a fire displaced me. Now, I make sure to pick up a pizza once a week on my way back to Tiverton. The pizzas are fully customizable through their online app, and everything they serve is exceptional!

We visited Sandy Point Beach completely unprepared for food. Not wanting to leave the beach, we searched for pizza delivery options, and this place was not only the closest but also the highest rated. So, we decided to give it a try. The delivery driver was fantastic and met us right in the parking lot. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, an Italian grinder, garlic knots, and some waters, which came to about $45. Everything was delicious! The garlic knots were loaded with cheese and butter and paired perfectly with the marinara sauce for dipping. The pizza had a delicious crust, generous cheese, and tasty toppings. My wife really enjoyed her grinder as well. Overall, you can't beat the food, service, and price!

I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap, which was described as containing fried chicken, but it came with grilled chicken instead. The texture was chewy and unappealing, which really disappointed me. I don’t enjoy that kind of texture, and it’s frustrating when the description isn’t accurate. Additionally, the entire wrap was soggy and wasn’t even cut in half properly.

Love the pizza, the meat lovers is one of the best. ??
