Today there are some plots further the restaurant Prinz Leopold in a remise, with a huge beer garden. In beautiful weather we spent a weekend in Potsdam. Saturday afternoon we went to the restaurant to see what had become of it. Practically there was a private parking lot. We found a parking space for our companion and could choose a table. In the late afternoon it was no longer crowded. There are tables everywhere that freeze coffee and cakes and ice cups. We took one of the menus. Italian cuisine was offered; from soups to appetizers, salads, a wide selection of pizzas and pasta to meat and fish dishes should find something for every taste. Prices are average, suitable for a restaurant. The menu is available on the website. Since we already had coffee, we all took a minestrone and soft drinks. Minestrone was delicious and rich, with lots of vegetables. If the other dishes are just as good, it is recommended. The interesting thing about this place was of course the beer garden. You could sit nicely on the water, the bridge over the Teltow channel was right next to the beer garden. We sat relaxed in the sun and watched the busy drive on the bridge. The services were friendly. We were mainly served by a waiter; a colleague brought the soups. We recommend the restaurant, especially for the weekend excursion in beautiful weather.
