Harvester The Oakmere House

Cheap and cheerful in a bland atmosphere, this is what it is. Although the normal menu has had a price hike in the last few months making it not quite so cheap. I was here with 2 colleagues and we all had the Xmas menu, which wasn't bad considering it is all pre packaged etc. The help yourself salad bar has improved a lot since the menu change and is better set out with lots of sauces and bits and pieces. However the whole place still gives the impression of being a family venue. I recommend it only for run of the mill meals where you know what you get.

A very nice meal, but we miss some of the meals that used to be on the early bird menu.

We always enjoy our visits. The food is plentiful and we usually eat too much even though quite a lot is salad. The staff are friendly and everything is clean and tidy.

The waiter that served us was nice and interacted with my child, and they let her have some tomatos from the salad bar, as she wouldn't eat much to have a main meal. The waiter made us all welcomed and comfortable. Was a nice day out for my family, thank you.

As alway the staff are more than helpful as i disabled person this means a lot , the food was great as always managers and staff should all be rewarded will be there many more times
