Trattoria Sofia - Potton

The restaurant has very limited hours. We went for lunch, but they only had burgers and salads, no pasta or pizza available. I made a reservation for dinner, but there was only one waitress for all the guests. It took 20 minutes to take our order and over an hour to receive our main course. There was no offer of drinks refills, no bread on our table, and we had to ask for Parmesan cheese. The candles were not lit and we were served before the men sitting next to us who had arrived before us. The tortellini gigi was delicious, but not worth the wait. Overall, we were not satisfied with the experience and will not be returning to this restaurant.

This restaurant is a wonderful spot to gather with friends and family, enjoying delicious food and excellent service. Each dish is prepared with care and attention to detail, as owner Pat is deeply committed to ensuring guests have the best possible dining experience.

When considering the cost, you may expect a higher quality of food. However, the dishes are decent but not outstanding. The prices are too high for the overall dining experience.

Wing commander dropped by the Eastern Townships for an Exposition at the Round Barn after which by happenchance we were invited by our Orford friends to have some repasse at this lovely Trattoria. In the second place the NZ Sauvé, Frite, Calamari and Aioli really...started the meal off with thunder but best, our no reservation landing was greeted with glace, aplomb and ultimate accommodation so things did start off right with hospitality first. Everyone enjoyed their salad and thin crust pizza.
