For example, the bacalao is $9.00 for a very small portion and full of carrots and potatoes—very little fish in it. In addition, the service is just so rude and rough like they’re doing you a favor by selling you this mediocre food. Never again.
I did get there about 15 mins before closing so maybe it was because the food was sitting for a while but I chose this one because I didn't like the one on Main St. The Pork was amazing but the plate was literally 90% rice and 10% meat way too much rice. The Goat was super tough hard to eat but would go back and try again. Maybe earlier in the day.
Upon entering this business establishment, I noticed that the one person in the store working was on a laptop scratching his legs. The young gentleman commenced to get up and started preparing my order, but I quickly had to stop him and ask him to either wash his hands or to put on a fresh pair of gloves, which a customer should never have to ask someone handling food of any kind. Also, all cooked food has a Secondary shelf Life once it is cooked and once that time expires, it should be discarded and never sold to a customer
Delicious and flavorful dining experience! I traveled quite a distance after hearing so many positive things about this place, and I can confirm that my ears didn't deceive me—it was excellent! We'll definitely be returning for more!
If you enjoy Spanish, Dominican, or Puerto Rican cuisine, this is the place to be. The food is excellent, and I absolutely love their empanadas and sweet plantains!
