But what I really enjoyed was the buildings in the area. The grand churches with their magnificent spires and the astronomical clock chiming every hour. I preferred to go during the day to get a better view of the buildings and their unique facades. There are plenty around with eye-catching designs. One of the better areas to walk around since I quite liked the stone pavings and buildings.
Expansive and busy town square which offers great views of the surrounding architecture and is generally just a good place to relex and do some people watching. Lots of street performers and crowds so it isn't the quietest place, but well worth walking through and exploring.
Great place to relax or explore lots of cafes and bars and stunning architecture
Awesome place to visit, especially for Christmas time. The Christmas tree was beautiful (better than the Rockefeller in my opinion). The Christmas market is considered by many the best in the world, and I could see why. You can get many different items from hot wine to traditional chicken sausage with cheese (delicious). The plaza is well decorated and lighted, great for pictures. Many tours also start from this central location. I will definitely be back to Prague
Nice place with many nice places to sit and have a drink.
