1855 Lynnwood - Pretoria

My friend and I visited 1855 on a Sunday for breakfast, and I have to say it was a delightful experience. The meal cost R45, excluding drinks like coffee. We arrived at 10:45 and were seated around 11:23 after waiting in a fairly long line. We were informed beforehand that there would be a 25-minute wait, so I recommend arriving early to avoid the queues. The visit was definitely worth it; the restaurant has a lovely ambiance and looks fantastic. The service was excellent as well. I highly recommend it for a Sunday breakfast, but keep in mind that breakfast is served until 11:30.

Thank you for a wonderful afternoon that celebrates my sons for their birthday. They were all so friendly and accommodating. Great food, excellent service, something lacking in so many other facilities, all made for an unforgettable day. Very recommended

Amazing wide range of breakfast at VERY reasonable prices. I had the biggest flap Jack's I have ever seen in my life.. Very fluffy and light. I enjoyed them. My date had the Phutupap with chicken liver... And he said it genuinely tastes like how it would be made at home. He loved it. The service was amazing. The environment was very good. FYI it gets packed pretty quickly in the morning. Rather reserve table or come as early as possible like 8am.

Really good selection of food and prepared with care! Best chicken curry I've ever had! Calamari is also unique to me as it's whole squid instead of rings.

I have been to this place many times and have never been disappointed. The food is amazing and with the special it is a bargain. The service has always been excellent and friendly.
