Contribuisci feedbackWhat a great experience. We have been to DK burger before, about 2 years ago and thought we might try it out again. Although 2 years have gone by, nothing has changed. Still a fantastic dining experience.<br/ <br/ DK burgers caters for all with a gourmet dining experience serving burgers and other main dishes. My boyfriend had the salmon burger and I had the fillet steak burger, which was cooked to perfection.<br/ <br/ Although the restaurant was quiet, the waiter was friendly and always ready to help. DK burger makes for a great date night place, if you looking for somewhere elegant and charming.
If you have not been here, go! We are in love with the main 'fine dining ' restaurant De Kloof, but adore the concept of the baby brother downstairs namely DK burger. Their claim to fame is Gourmet Burgers, and they dont dissapoint. They are big on craft gin and craft beer as well. They offer a buy one get one free special on Tuesdays on all their burgers, including Wagyu, Fillet, Salmon and Venison, which makes it extremely affordable, and a great evening out with friends. Beautiful Location overlooking the Waterkloof Golf Course and the pretoria lights, only let down is the service. Our waiter, admittedly being new, slipped up a couple of times by bringing incorrect orders and messing up the bill. The owner however stepped in and rectified the mistakes ASAP. Will have to go try their spring special before the end of October!
Decent all-round burger joint. Has reasonably priced burgers, steaks and desserts. Will definitely recommend it to others. I like the fact they use interesting and not your run of the mill ingredients.
Fantastic burgers. Every combination is superb. Very casual restaurant that is on the driving range. More on the expensive side, but well worth it. The owner is usually present and he prides himself in his two restaurants.
DK is probably my favourite laid-back eatery in Pretoria. For my own selfish reasons, I wish it remains the little secret it currently is. I've never had a bad experience at DK. The food is always excellent and the milkshakes are delicious, but what really makes DK special is sitting outside watching the sun set and feeling like you are far away.<br/ <br/ The menu isn't extensive and if you don't like burgers, don't come here. If you like a burger that is unpretentious, then DK is a good place to eat. The bar area also seems to be cool, but I never come here for the cocktails (although they have a good selection of beer). I come for good simple food.
