Contribuisci feedbackI booked this place through Hotwire and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and the rooms were comfortable. While not overly fancy or luxurious, it was a good spot to get a good night's sleep. I ordered room service from their onsite restaurant, Blackwater, and had a delicious chicken wrap with fries. The service was fast and the prices were very reasonable.
This restaurant is clean and comfortable, with everything I needed. I could hear the vending machines turning on if I got a room near them, but the sound was not bothersome and I was still able to sleep.
The staff at this restaurant is very welcoming and friendly. The lobby is beautifully decorated and the dinner options are exceptional. Room service is very prompt. For breakfast, I ordered eggs benedict and was surprised by the unique Hollandaise sauce.
Stay on 23 Sept of 2021. Five serious problems. You might overlook one or two them (no hotel is perfect), but when all are combined they warrant a serious look by Marriott higher ups.(1) Both front desk employees were not wearing masks as required by the recent BC legal mandate (like it or not, it's currently the law)(2) Only one key provided for two guests, front desk did not inquire as to how many were needed (the usual procedure)(3) Only 3 bath towels in total provided for two guests (normally okay, but not when they are also required to for the pool usage)(4) Pool area is unventilated which makes for an overwhelming and uncomfortable chlorinated air(5) Most importantly, the hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. For example, the hot tub appears to resemble something you'd find in someone's backyard and not at a Marriott property. Also, a television set that looks about 15+ years old. Too many other examples to mention.
Great place to stay and the staff are amazing, the food here is amazing too and the price is very good ?
