I stayed overnight in my truck last night and decided to grab dinner and breakfast to show my appreciation for the parking. The staff was really friendly, the restrooms were clean, and the coffee this morning was excellent. You all are the best! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you're on the road and thinking of stopping at this location, keep driving. Luckily for your McDonald's is everywhere. Keep going to a Duluth location (Cloquet if you're going south). This (Proctor) McDonald's is the most expensive one around. Even back when all McDonald's actually had a mcdoubles and mcchickens for a buck, Proctor's charged more! A couple weeks ago we got twist cones at another location in Duluth and they were like .50c Last night we (3 of us) stopped for twist cones thinking they'd be cheap because, hey, they're ice cream cones. Our total was over $8 !! For almost $3 a cone you'd think they'd be a bit bigger. Lesson learned for us that some things never change. Greedy owners

My husband went to McDonald's for his lunch break around 11 a.m. He used the drive-thru to place an order that he expected to be fresh. This is one of the perks that McDonald's promotes. However, when he reached the window, the food was not fresh at all. The employee explained that they had just started serving the lunch menu, so the food was fresh. But here’s the thing: lunch starts at 10:30 a.m., which means they likely began preparing the food even earlier. This suggests that the food could have been cooked thirty minutes before he even placed his order. When we think of "fresh to order," we expect it to mean fresh off the grill, not just kept warm under a heat lamp. The customer service was disappointing. If a customer requests something specific, they should receive it without argument. If my husband wanted to debate about his food, he could have simply gone home for lunch.
