We booked a table on the terrace of the Dolcemare, with a beautiful view on the pier and the sea. It’s a restaurant that seeks creativity with fresh ingredients but falls short on a few points. We thought the service was a little underwhelming for the image the restaurant wants to project, given that the staff was quite unresponsive and we had to ask several times for things as simple as cutlery. Also, we found the staff to lack knowledge about their food and drink, as we would’ve expected them to give us suggestions about serving sizes for the fish (1kg of fish for 2 people is too much, and it would’ve been nice for them to indicate it when the price is per 100g). We also asked for a recommendation of wine to accompany the fish, and were not even told which wine had been served to us. Generally, the food was good but expensive and the staff didn’t seem to care too much about the customer. Overall the experience was not bad, but if you’re looking for a good restaurant you might want to look elsewhere to get best value for your money.
We were having the Caesar‘s salad and a salad with tuna. Both were really good, big in size and solid in quality. The terrace is overlooking the harbor and the sea. A nice spot with a enjoyable atmosphere. Service was good, also solid, i‘d Call it.
The reception was very friendly and pro. very good and very tasteful food. the frame is classy and warm. Quality service. a do without hesitation.
We were entitled to a very correct dinner but from a somewhat simple level compared to the price paid. nothing bad.
