Contribuisci feedbackI used to be a regular at this restaurant for many years, but since new management took over, the quality has declined in my opinion. I have only been there once since the change, and I do not plan on returning as there are plenty of other chicken shops in the area. Of course, this is just my personal experience and opinion.
Unfortunately, this restaurant has deteriorated since the ownership changed hands. My wife and I planned to have lunch there today, but when we approached the counter, we witnessed the two women working there arguing loudly with each other. It was not a pleasant sight.
I have been a regular customer of this business for many years.I always received quality take away food and great service from friendly, efficient staff and owners.Unfortunately new owners took over the business a few months ago and everything has changed. Last and final two visits were terrible.First: Ordered two chickens and a large tub of peas and gravy. When we opened the food at home I found the chicken was dry and appeared to have been in the food warmer for far too long. The large peas and gravy were a bad joke. Tub was 90% gravy, and we measured less than a tablespoon of peas. Obviously they had run out of peas, but didn't say anything and sold and charged the full price for an inferior product. Next day I rang them to discuss my disappointment. The person who I suspect was one of the new owners, just wasn't interested and simply couldn't be bothered. No thought of an apology!Last and definitely final visit (Thurs 9/6/16.. For my own convenience I opted to stop in a buy 2 chickens, after all what could go wrong...Arrived to find one customer in front of me being told by staff member that the hamburgers she had pre-ordered and paid for, before doing some other shopping, hadn't been prepared as the order had been missed. Staff member asked owners what to do and was told that they would prepare the order, but would still take another 15 minutes! (No need to rush these things). The frustrated customer politely declined this offer and requested a refund, which she received. I noted that the owners didn't approach the disappointed customer, but just stood to one side talking and laughing amongst themselves.....Now it was my turn. When I approached the counter the young staff member abruptly asked me if I had made "a noise" while I was waiting and listening to the conversation with the previous disappointed customer???? As I am not in the habit of making noises in public queues I said that I had only been breathing, and was that permissible? Apparently everyone else is at fault when this group of incompetents make a mistake. Strongly suggest to avoid this place completely. I have never experienced such retail rudeness and arrogance.There are so many similar, small, and deserving businesses in the area that need and would welcome your business. Give them a try.
