Overall, it was still a good meal. The calamari starter wasn’t as impressive as it was during my last visit, but I appreciated being offered a complimentary dessert after mentioning it.

Eating was average, it was very busy, which had an effect on the service. three times asked for a second drink before it came, usually better than last night.

I know this place and have been many times before covid19. so it was an easy choice and such an easy way to book on line. My second time out in the last 18 months and it felt safe. Food is good pub food. This place is dog friendly, lots of garden space and plenty of outside furniture. Enjoy.

This was our second visit, and the food was of good quality and well-presented. It was great to see some changes on the menu!

This is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a meal, but my experience today was disappointing. The starters, which included a duo of pâté and scallops with garnishes, were quite good. However, the chicken and avocado sandwiches were very dry, and the chips had a tough, chewy texture. The coffee and mini pudding, particularly the tiny crème brûlée, were tasty, but the Eton mess was lacking cream, and the cappuccinos were too weak and milky. What a shame.
