Hafen Biergarten - Puerto Colombia

The beer was ok, nothing amazing. They had three types, brewed onsite but sadly the place was only open about 6 months. It has been closed since Christmas and is now for sale

It is sad that these guys just never got it quite right! They had everything in place: good location, beautiful patio, a mini-brewery, and a good menu. Unfortunately, they blew it all. The service was very inconsistent and everyone I knew that went there had their food just not arrive at least once, the beer was very average, and everything was expensive and the prices literally went up every month. TOO BAD because a brewpub in Puerto would be amazing. Someone please buy their location (being sold by Remax) and open it again with really good beer made on premise.

Since the food that is offered in most Caribbean towns in Colombia is pretty much the same (great tasting, but everyday becomes a little much) this restaurant is a welcome surprise offering everything from hotdogs to European style sandwiches and hamburgers of varying shapes, styles and flavours. Its owner is an expert beer man, knows his stuff, and therefore produces a craft beer that is nothing short of delicious, served cold with a meal. There is live entertainment some nights, the place has a simple, elegant decor, mostly outside where the cool evening breezes that waft up off the Caribbean whet ones appetite and literally coax one to want to dance to the music.I recommend trying the famous Juliusburger burger, named after a friend of the owner´s (Ronald Juliusburger) whose name inspired the delicious creation.

Buscando un lugar fuera de barranquilla pero con personalidad nos encontramos con este que resultó tener un ambiente muy agradable muy bien decorado incluyendo a la naturaleza. La servida fue muy rápida y la atención destacada, las hamburguesas geniales: del castillo y salgar al igual que los sándwiches. Buena música pero no hubo en vivo, fui un viernes en la noche. La cerveza roja muy buena. Para departir con amigos el lugar es perfecto.

La calidad de la comida es muy buena, el ambiente del lugar es muy acogedor. El servicio es muy bueno y la relación precio calidad también es bueno. Ofrecen también cerveza artesanal Hafen (Rubia, morena y roja), son buenas también. Para cambiar de ambiente con respecto a la oferta de este tipo en Barranquilla, el solo hecho de estar en Puerto Colombia y ofrecer la ambientación que ofrecen, ya justifican la visita. Buen servicio de Grace
