One of my favorite places to bring visitors and eat. to run over the mangroves, so important for the ecosystems here is very educational. the ambiente is so relaxing. the water is clean and clear, it is relaxing to see the fish swimming. eating is also very good and they have a good sort of sure to please everyone. the staff is friendly and helpful. best to make a reservation before going and even preorder from their menu online to be sure that they have what they want, as it is in the did a very popular and iconic place to eat in puerto princesa.
They called to ask about 2 o'clock specifically whether they are available to the evening meal and was said they appeared three hours later at 5 o'clock in order to find that they actually have crawling one crab. So it wasn't a clear lie, it was honest. ? sigh. very recommend a reservation, no matter when or day, because this place is popular. the staff is friendly and helpful. eating is delicious and the intention is beautiful at sunset. designed for tourist and special occasions.
Since the beginning of the pandemic I was no longer here, but I am pleased to report that they are better than ever! the ambiente is the same calm, quiet, relaxing atmosphere and the scenic panoramic view are breathtaking, especially between the golden and blue hours before sunset. they seem to have been refurbished as the place looks new and refreshes. service staff is plentiful, and all are friendly and attentive. they are sharp in rest and well maintained. most importantly, they have a feeling of urgency while not harried or rushed appear. Finally, the chef of cuisine was fresh and cooked for perfection. the filled inkfish was tender, not chewing. the garnel and crumb were juicy, but solid, and the fish tasted sweet and clean. the kinilaw could have been better, but not a deal breaker. the lato is more than any case. one would think that for a seafood restaurant the meat dishes would be a pure reflection. but her grilled turquoise was excellent! not too fat, meat was tender, well seasoned and perfectly grilled, even the skin was crispy, so nothing was was was was was wasted. very recommended! future early (or late) to lunch or dinner to avoid the usual quantity.
Great place, the view is just stunning! Especially during lunch high tide, with the mangroves half covered in water. The food quality is very good, crunchy seaweed (lato), and fresh fish. Try the Kinilaw! Crunchy, fresh, slightly spicy.
