Here in puerto princesa there is practically a Vietnamese restaurant chao long in every corner. we have tried a few and it seems that they really can't go wrong with any Vietnamese restaurant, rene saigon is definitiw our favorites that we had their best sale dish that bark noodles. The suppe is very tasteful and paired with what seems to be handmaid noodles, it is simply amazing. we also had the fritten garlic rice paired with spicy tinted fish. that was my favorite.
Not bad? we had lunch. room is cute, server was very patient with us explain everything and make sure that we had a good table so that was really nice eating was good, but not amazing. fresh spring rolls were ok, sauce was amazing. the noodles. the texture was a bit clumpy, although taste (especially when they add the early whale sauce) is good
I was not impressed with my dining experience at this restaurant. The menu items were listed in Filipino, such as tokwa and pancit, which made it difficult for me to choose. The Pho-Rind with noodles was okay, but not very flavorful. The Pho came with beef, sprouts, and basil leaves, but only had a few pieces of cooked beef and rice noodles. The fresh spring rolls were disappointing, with only rice noodles and minimal garnishes. The pho broth seemed minimalistic, with just broth and meat. Unfortunately, I also ended up getting food poisoning after dinner.
The restaurant serves delicious food with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. I enjoyed the beef stew chaolong with their French bread - a perfect combination.
