And from the other side of the kitchen (they serve BBQ and sushi) we had two delicious veggie rolls. Their “eel sauce” is actually just sweet soy sauce they told us. They have tofu, veggies, tempura, it’s all really amazing. Great drinks and a really cool atmosphere too. They grow a bunch of food just below in a farm visible from the patio!
This place was amazing! It was super busy the night that we went and they still made sure we were able to get done in time for our bio- bay tour. There are 2 separate kitchens serving BBQ and sushi. Both menus had multiple vegan options. The food was excellent and so were the drinks! Highly recommend you make a reservation or plan to wait to be seated. It is pricey like most places on this island. Worth every penny!
We had the tofu skewers, Buddha roll, and veggie roll all made vegan as well as fresh passion fruit juice to drink. Everything was delicious but that Buddha roll was our fav! Definitely recommend having dinner here while in Vieques.
The food and service at this restaurant were outstanding. As a vegetarian, I appreciated that I had a variety of options to choose from. The waitress was attentive and even asked if I wanted to skip the Mayo-based dip. The cornbread was delicious and I wish this restaurant was closer to me so I could recommend it to everyone. The tofu skewers were cooked perfectly and had great flavor.
We ordered the tofu skewers and non-alcoholic beers. The tofu portion was large, but the fries and salad were not enough to satisfy us. We decided to order a side of sweet potato fries to make up for it. The tofu skewers had great flavors, but there was a possibility they were cooked on the same grill as meat. Despite experiencing stomach aches afterwards, I am giving the restaurant a rating of 3.5 because it could have been caused by the non-alcoholic beers.
