We live in Bucerías and regularly come to Vallarta for a few nights staycation. On a morning walk in search of breakfast, we walked past Casa 449. I have to say this is in my top 5 breakfasts of all time. It all started with the brewed coffee (which in most diners are just barely palatable at best). The coffee was bold and fresh and I happily had a second cup. The entire menu looked great. I went for the enfrijoladas which were hands down the best I have eaten. My wife had the eggs Bennie. She said all was amazingly delicious and her only wish was to have a proper English muffin. I’m excited to come back and try the machaca de res.
