Chappy's - Puerto Vallarta

I saw a sign for a fish special that Chappy's was having and I was glad I came back for dinner. It was a large and nicely seared tuna steak that came with either onion rings, baked potato or potato salad and a couple of veggies. The tuna steak came with a soy glazed sauce which was very good. A very tasty meal!

Justo en Marina Malacón, este bar deportivo es apto para niños y ofrece el tipo de comida que esperarías, pero muy buena. Hay cerveza embotellada (no de barril) y muchas otras bebidas, tanto alcohólicas como no alcohólicas. El servicio es bueno, pero se llena bastante durante el almuerzo y la cena, así que ten paciencia.

El gran ambiente solo se detuvo para papas fritas, guacamole, salsa y bebidas.

We used to visit semi-regularly before Covid. This was our first visit since. The place was almost full and fairly noisy (not unexpected). The waitress was polite and prompt with providing menus and our first round of drinks. Service declined after we received our food. Getting and paying for the bill took a long time. The chicken wings were the smallest we’ve ever seen! The stuffed chili peppers were very tasty. The hamburgers and chicken burgers were just okay and. The fries were good. With so many outstanding restaurants in PV, we’ll probably wait another year or two before trying here again.
