It did take visa and we didn't have pesos yet so that was a plus. My wife and I didn't really enjoy the food. Not a lot of flavor. It filled a void and that was about it, The service was good, but it took a long time to get the food out. It was fun watching families coming to enjoy the area and get ready to enjoy New Years.
Deliciosa parrillada para todos los gustos con un toque especial al centro!!! Y súper atención de Alfredo!!!Ojo no preguntes la receta porque te cobran el doble jajajajaja
We stopped in at this little place for a quick bite to eat to find Maria (hostess) greet us at the door and recommended their famous shrimp fajitas. We thought we woulld give them a try and when they came to the table they a special glaze on the shrimp and vegtables. They were the best we found any where and the prices were average. Roy R.
Five star ratings are very rare for me, but the hidden gem well deserves it! Traditional Mexico food with a healthy flair, very clean tasting, very tasty! I think this just might be my new local favorite here in Puerto Vallarta. We've passed by this restaurant many times after stopping by HSBC, it's locate right behind the orange Hotel Suites del Sol, at the edge of a nearly deserted strip mall. The phrase don't judge a book by it's cover comes to mine, and we did too many times, passing by this restaurant because it just doesn't look like much from the outside, but WOW the food is amazing! Offering a complete lunch for 60 pesos, less if you don't want the dessert, which today was fresh flan that just came out of the oven! OMG delicious! We ordered the fried chicken, which was not at all greasy and had great flavor! And the vegetarian potato tortilla, which consists of shredded potato and other vegetables, lightly sautéed. And the stuffed mushrooms, which were delicious and I'm not really all that fond of mushrooms... The salad was fresh and crisp and splashed with just the right amount of honey mustard dressing, which thankfully was not too sweet. We'll definitely be back, in fact we were debating whether we should leave in the first place! Service of course was wonderful. You owe it to your taste buds to try this place!
I have been visiting Vallarta for years and love the numerous restaurants and tastes from all around the world. The only thing that has been hard to find is a place that offers an authentic Mexican dining experience that ISNT tacos or very heavy. In Versalles, right off the main highway near Blockbuster, I found this tiny little place that offers beautifully decorated plates, fresh and natural vegetables, and a taste unlike any other. They have great omelets and crepes with fresh sqweezed juices in the morning. Lunch is a traditional "comida corrida" a 3 course meal with natural fruit water for under 5 USD!! For dinner, vegetarian burgers and gourmet salads! The staff is wonderful and the place is very clean. I will definitely become one of the many regular customers that frequent this place.
