If you like big meals that are more than you need, this is not your place. The food here is in small portions, but is of spectacular quality. I've been coming to PV for many years, but this is without a doubt my favorite place. I hate telling people about this because I'd like to keep it to myself. Very, very reasonable. Wonderful ambience. The service is better than most in PV. Please don't be overly effusive and let the secret out.
This was our first visit to Encanto but certainly not our last. The decor is warm an inviting as were the staff, Enrique was our waiter and saw to our every need and had a contagious sense of humour. Our table of four shared the crab cakes and the peach and Brie quesadilla scrumptious. Enrique then brought an order of corn cakes for us to sample, equally as tasty. The entrees were very yummy all around however the coconut shrimp my sister in law ordered was the leader. None of us were thinking dessert but Enrique was, as he brought out four churro bowls with ice cream, gratis as were the corn cakes. A walk was in order and we made our way to the Malecon, once we made sure we picked up Encanto's business cards to pass onto our friends. Till next time......
Don’t miss this spot but plan an hour minimum. Slow down and enjoy a wonderful dining experience. See early reviews.
Delightful riverside bistro, coupled with nightly entertainment.
Hidden gem east of the trafficked parts of downtown PV in an endearing residential neighborhood. Kids playing cards on the sidewalk. A Botero-esque portrait adorns the wall in the main room and three fountains spill into a pool in the central room. Excellent drinks, appetizers, and entrees. Service is personal as of you are a guest in their home!
