La Canoa - Puerto Vallarta

Beautiful little restaurant about oxxo and pie in sky at marina. the Sunday special catches our eyes how we enjoy a big hot bowl suppe this morning 89pesos everyone. the bark was as tender as the trip. we also order a spinach...and ham omlette equally well prepared moist and generously portioned. extensive breakfast and lunch menu. more reasonable value.

Basic Mexican breakfast with a terrible coffee, not back from this ground. many restaurants in the marina area, e.g. las alcatraces with a wonderful “Mexiconic” cinnamon coffee.

Our first morning at the marina we wanted a Mexican breakfast. we went around the marina to search for a place. it was Sunday so many of the places along the marina were packed. I found this little place on a side street. small inside with two tables outside. we have dimmed alfresco under a dach. this place is popular with the natives, we were the only gringos. good food and prices. we enjoyed our breakfast, the service was very good.

Great location. Food is good but service tends to be on the slow Mexican side. You know Mexican time!

We visited this restaurant after we received our morning massages at Bliss Spa next door. It was always packed when we walked by, so we figured it must be good. Lots of locals and visitors were always there. Their breakfast choices were plentiful and reasonable. Fresh fruit and coffee are also included with the meal. I was not able to finish my omelette as it was so big and tasty. I would recommend this quaint little restaurant to anyone staying in the marina area, or it is definitely worth a bus trip from town!
