Live music, nice cold beer good food- I didn't receive any attentive service. I was solo senior so very slow customer service.
Great place, right by the sea. The dishes and drinks were very good, but the staff is the standout. Everyone is so nice, accommodating and entertaining. Very recommended.
Really good place to see the sunset with a beer and it is way different than the pics show. It actually has a roof over the tables on the beach I love it now
Met a friend for lunch in the open air on the beach. The El Malecon Restaurant is located in Paseo Díaz Ordaz 895, Centro, 48300 Puerto Vallarta, Jal. There are two entrances. The front leads you through the bar and the stairs up and down. The washrooms are in the bar area. The second is closer to the beach and a person in a bike can enter there. Family friendly. Only cash. Our waiter Omar was very attentive. We were supplied with totopos and a medium-sized salsa. I ordered a Michelada to drink. (beer and clad juice in a spiced edge with sticks of carrots, jicama, large shrimps and cucumber slices). Unless you demand a glass, it is served in a large polystyrene cup. From the menu I ordered a seafood borrito consisting of shrimp, scallops and octopus. One page of rice and guacamole was included. My friend ordered the shrimp cabobs grilled on spits with peppers and onions. Their sides were vegetables and rice. Also delicious. I found the prices reasonable and the portions served abundantly. As usual in a beach restaurant, there are sellers selling their wars. I courteously tell them no thanks and they move on. We had a guitarist who sang, and then there was music for entertainment. The Pelicans also got a meal. You will receive all discarded seafood during preparation. You know when they come and wait for it. They have to watch them help themselves. I will return.
