I don't want to hear loud music, I don't want to hear a soundtrack while someone plays a trumpet. I want good live music that doesn't interfere with conversation. That's dining, especially higher end, which the food is here, along with prices. The meat is fantastic. Had a delicious picanha cut that was hard to cook to perfection because of its size, but the quality was fantastic. The portions are huge so beware. We took lots home. The service is impeccable. The flan, for dessert, is homemade and so good we ordered one to take home as well. I'd come back but I don't like all the street people selling us **** at our tables when we're trying to have upscale dining; and I don't like the loud music where I can't speak. I want a restaurant for me, and for my relaxing and enjoyment, not the owners or the peddlers.
So popped in day one of vacation. Food was very good, would have returned many times but at end of service, the waiter,a young man, decided to add a tip himself, more then 20 percent, without asking or giving me the opportunity to do so. We are Canadian and its customarily for us too tip, but what he did amounted to theft. Will never return. Watch your BILL
I had eaten there a few times and the food is fine. Don’t reserve because you show up and they don’t really honor your reservation. We got there and it was full. We were told we could wait at the bar while a table would be ready. We waited 30 minutes for a table we saw people walking in and they gave them the tables. Went to see the waiter and he said he was not aware of people waiting. There was no manager in charge so we had to leave. Very disorganized. So many options in Vallarta. Too bad.
We had read lots of good reviews and were excited to try. It was ok. Not bad but not great either. I told waiter as soon as we arrived it was my hubbys birthday but he didn’t seem to really care. No Happy birthday and definitely no free desert. Which is fine but for the prices they charged they could of done something. Service was ok,not exceptional and same goes with food. I had ribs and hubby had rib eye steak. Both were just ok.
Excellent steak and service highlight this small restaurant with view of the park. We had flank steak. Very tasty and tender, together with the house salad. Nice wine list although pricey. Total cost for two with tip about $85. So, a bit pricey but worth it due to good helping of very tasty, tender meet.
