Staff was very efficient and courteous, from the cashier to the waiters and servers, especially the kind security guard who also assisted me during parking and maneuvering my car. Food was excellent especially Kare Kare, lumpia, java rice, pancit and fried chicken. They also have deserts. Try their mango shake too. Will definitely come back! Initial service was great. Service experience stopped when food was served. No check backs, considering we were the only table that time. Potatoes, carrots and capsicum from the Beef Caldereta were blanched too quickly. Still hard to munch. Sinigang broth is quite good tho. Lumpia has thick crepe. Rice is overcooked. Chicken is still the same, good that it didn’t change. Establishment is old, i hope you can maintain the neatness classic old style of it, however, it is noticeable that cleanliness is not managed well. There were pest droppings on window grills which is unacceptable for food safety. Max’s has established a very good reputation as a local brand serving PH cuisine. Please keep it so your prices will be fair. It is unbelievable that your international branches serves better than the place of its origin.
