Food, had a rare steak it was delicious, well presented good seasoning, other meals by the rest of our group, were excellent presentation made ones mouth water. At the end of the night, no one complained, very satisfied diners....
Great fish and chips. The slaw was crisp and clearly freshly prepared. Nice vibe. Good people.
Great venue! So helpful with hosting an event for us with 50 people, they accommodated us so well. Staff are friendly and always make you feel welcome. The food is amazing, especially the buffalo wings! And always have a good choice of drinks on tap.
We tried their new menu last night. my man had the tasmanic sticky bbq beef short rib and a day later will not close that he loved it. I had the cape grim lamb that was delicious. it is so beautiful to discover something very special. keep the good kitchen
Arriving at Hitching Post Bar Grill, the atmosphere was alive and great, most patrons were loud but to be expected as it 's a family venue. Whilst ordering there was games and drinks to keep us occupied whilst waiting for the food to arrive. Once we received our food from the friendly staff member we dug in. I took a photo as you do, but I immediately noticed my parmy was over cooked. I 'm not one to complain, but considering the price I felt to expect more. The side of chips were undercooked which retained the oily taste of the deep fryer; as for the slaw, it was okay. I also ordered a steak, which was The chefs pick. It was quite over priced for the dish that she also received, she mentioned it was well cooked, but the side was too much. This was an experience that was met with okay service, but an average taste. Sadly I will not be attending again, I did choose this place based on reviews, but I believe it was misleading.
