Marisqueria Pata Larga - Puntarenas

Patalarga is a bar located in a place called La Angostura , where you can eat seafood with rice, patacón basket filled with shrimp, and more. Patacón is made using green plantain, Mmmm, delicious!!! The atmosphere is great for friends and family.

This is where the locals go to eat and have a cold beer. They have the best arroz con mariscos that I have eaten in Puntarenas. You can also get a delicious Casado. The food is authentic. For sports fans, there are plenty of flat screen tv's. Marisquería Pata Larga is a small open air restaurant bar. Don't expect anything fancy except cold beer and fresh and delicious home-cooked style food. Food takes awhile to come out, but it's well worth the wait. This restaurant is reasonably priced and you get an ample portion. Be sure to try the breaded shrimp dinner. It's incredible!

I found it! My favorite place for seafood in Puntarenas. Best prices in town and really good food. I had Sopa de Mariscos con Leche y Mariscos Mixtos en garlic butter.
