We had a pleasant experience at Sculpture at the Lakes. The walking paths are level and straightforward, with delightful surprises at every turn. There are lovely spots to dine or simply unwind. The shop offers a variety of locally made items, which is always a welcomed sight.
A picturesque and tranquil setting perfect for enjoying a sunny day and a picnic. No dogs or children under 14 allowed. The restaurant also has a charming farm shop with unique products. While the lunch options were limited, it was still enjoyable to explore. The gardens and lakes are perfect for those who appreciate sculpture and quiet walks. Fresh vegetables and plants are available for purchase, all of which are grown on site and used in the restaurant and cafe.
Having visited the cafe a couple of years ago on the quest for the perfect Dorset cream tea I was extremely disappointed to find out that it was no longer offered. The deconstructed cheesecake was the equivalent of angel delight with a handful of crumbs on top. I felt robbed for £9 for 4 spoonfuls that didn’t require chewing.
No dogs, no kids (I have 2 20+Yr olds) this place is heaven. Lovely food, some produce from the kitchen garden. Great staff. Fab vibe.
