4th Seed - Queanbeyan

I regularly visit Queanbeyan from Brisbane for work. Took me awhile to find somewhere with great coffee and 4th Seed is it! Always a warm welcome from the staff. Thorough recommend this place.

Parked in the street looking for breakfast, dropped in for a nice breaky and coffee. Friendly staff with enough on the menu to choose from.

My breakfast was ok - well cooked poached eggs with ok bacon, but my friends breakfast was weird. On the blackboard menu, they were described as french crepes with lemon and sugar. Theses came out looking like three skinny prawns and with a small amount of sugar and imitation lemon juice - so the taste was not good.Gordon Ramsay would also suggest that the ceiling fan needed a good clean.The staff are great and offer good service. The atmosphere is nice.

My lasting impression of this establishment is its noise. The room is all glass and concrete so it has nothing to absorb the noise and is therefore overwhelmingly noisy. Added to the general noise, the cafe's music was going thump thump thump so that it was even difficult to hear the staff. The plain concrete floor also made the building cold, which may be okay in a warm climate but not for a cold climate in winter. The coffee and food was average. Next time I need coffee I shall choose somewhere that isn't so noisy.

Had breakfast here nearly every morning, not the cheapest but certainty one of the best plus they know how to do poached eggs properly, good coffee and sat outside was a perfect start to the day
