Jaja La Pizz is part of the same restaurant group as Le Cochon Dingue, so we decided to try it out for a mid-afternoon snack, given the wonderful dinner we
I've never been a fanatic of thin pizza so when I learned that jaja had a new menu, I was curious to go back to see the new map. I was surprised to see the beautiful additions and I was tempted by an entrance of arabes with shrimp that were good but no more, a little warmer and I would certainly have enjoyed it more. However, the beef carpaccio I ate in the main dish was really succulent. I intend to go back to taste other dishes because I love the atmosphere, the decor and the service always as friendly of the jaja.
It was my first visit and I only think I'll go back. Not that it was terrible, away from that but I expected to find the true taste of an Italian pizza and that's not what I had. First a squid entry at 12.95$ I think, small serving for the price, much too fried and too thick dressing that lacks lightness with a pizza sauce for dip, not a good idea. I pizzas correct without more. and small portions for the price. So, $70 apart from the tip ($80 with tip) for 1 entrance, 2 pizzas and two beers. For me, it's expensive for an average meal. the positive now, beautiful place, good service, a large terrace.
We ate well in the jaja. menu mainly made of pizzas but also pasta and some meat, fish and salad dishes. I ate the dodue cheek (beef) and it was good! I took a bite of ravioli from my friend's bocco osso and it was good too.
