I was here a few times to buy her Bourbon and was always greeted and greeted by someone there. Above all, I brought the group of Mercedes Club members to the distillery and Randy spent over an hour with us a detailed tour through their distilling process. It was absolutely fantastic! Oh, and the ghosts are top calls. I highly recommend that you take some time to stop by having a tasting, and then buy some bottles of your favorite spirit!
We had a great improvisation in the Vermont Spirits Distillery, which we found out, is the oldest farm distillery in the state! Our hosts explained their distilling process, the use of maple syrup in some of their spirits (like Vermont Gold Vodka), and their series of gins (maple free). We enjoyed tasting and came with a bottle of Sugarwood Gin. Definitely worth a stop when you are in the Quechee range.
Great place for local spirits and The host/Scott is knowledgeable and can talk it up about the products and more!
You must check this place out!!!! Some of the best spirits I ever had! They have a 1791 cocktail that is essentially a premixed old fashioned. The vodka is made from maple syrup and their No. 14 bourbon Is smooth with a maple finish. They also sell three types of Gin. The fun names are all based on Vermont history (No. 14 for the 14th state in the union; 1791 for the year Vermont joined the U.S.; Vermont Gold because vermont gold is maple syrup). They sell in the New Hampshire liquor stores, but trust me go to the distillery and try these in person for yourselves! Photos from their website
