Had dinner here tonight since the rain started pouring in. I was looking for something to warm the tummy so I had beef brisket wonton noodles. It’s satisfyingly savory and I love how tender the beef is while the wontons are just the perfect kind of chewy. I’d definitely go back to this place when I have the time!
Craving for Chinese food? I recommend dining at Luk Foo where you can enjoy some lovely Cantonese dishes. Luk Foo Cantonese Kitchen can be found at almost every Puregold store one of which is at Mindanao Avenue. Whenever we go there, we’d see people pass by the restaurant after grocery shopping. Sometimes they would just go straight to it.
My mom and brother loves it here so we usually dine when we just feel like eating out since this is near their place. I like all the dishes we usually order. Beef hofan is good, not too oily and very tasty. Mapo Tofu is good, tofu is not cut too small. Me and hubby’s fave is their Spinach soup. Can’t get enough of it! Almond Jelly dessert is also one of my faves, not too sweet but sweet enough to satisfy my love for sweets. Update: Celebrated my mom’s birthday here. Love everything as usual. Peking Duck 2-way is drool-worthy.
I tried this branch once a few years ago. Excellent service. Good Chinese food. I liked their salted egg shrimp take. Solid Cantonese style food by the owner of Puregold and S R. I also tried their Shaw and QI branches. I doubt I'll find my pics but if I do, it'll follow. Must try: +Salted egg shrimp +Salted fish fried rice +Crispy noodles with seafood Luk Food Ratings, at a Glance: Food Beverage: Service (Dine-In) : Kitchen Service : (solid if unspectacular especially since I didn't get to try something unique or out of this world) Ambience : Value for Money: 1/2 ___________ Worth a Try : Yes (neighborhood Chinese resto, you don't have to look far) Worth a return : Sure but there are so many good Chinese restos, I've not yet had the time to return here but I have been to their other branches. VERDICT :
