Contribuisci feedbackI was in a food trip with a friend last week and just out of nowhere I just thought I haven’t had a bowl of pares yet, as in EVERRR. I’ve been hearing a lot of good reviews of different versions of pares around the Metro, but I also am aware there is this one place where you can actually find the best pares in town.
Buti nalang talaga before magkaroon ng quarantine na try ko to It was my first time trying pares with my boyfriend and it was sooo worth it na ma stuck sa traffic ng ilang oras just to try this. It's such a pity nga lang kase this year ko lang siya na discover and I want to try it again kaso nga lang may quarantine
AMBIENCE Open 24 hours. It was crowded as expected and people were lining up behind different customers that were already settled on stools eating their beef pares. Place is hard to miss especially at night. In fact, their establishment brings the area to life! Parking seemed to be along the street or in front of the establishment along Retiro. For takeaway, you get a number and pay as you order. Floor near the stools were full of litter and I wish customers would make the effort to place it where they are supposed to be; it's supposed to be easy. FOOD For obvious reasons, it was a MUST to try their Beef Pares P115, which came with soup, garlic rice and a cold pitcher of water. Meat was sweet and tender. Because I enjoyed the sauce and ate some with every bite, my dishes were wiped out clean! Rice was slightly dry but the sauce and soup made it no biggie. SERVICE Server was quick to serve my food, bill and change. It just took a short while to get their attention upon my arrival because they were busy with the other customers (full house).

A friend introduced this place to me a few years back and I really enjoyed eating here. This no frills pares house is always jampacked with diners whatever time of the day I passed by. For this particular visit, I decided to take it out and enjoy my meal at home. By default, I had their beef pares P115/order, stuffed shrimp P70/order and buttered chicken P180/order. Everything was delish! I'll surely be back. Writing this review now is making me want to come back again and have this hearty meal.
