Tortang talong is great! Their signature Tinolang Manok sa Pakwan is very good! Plus their Phad thai is loaded with ingredients (we also request this not spicy).
Creative with flavors utilizing different herbs to flavor each dish. Their Beef Chili dish was exceptional, packed with flavors more evident was the soy sauce, topped with a variety of vegetables. Their bestseller Tinola sa Pakwan has oddly creativity written all over it. It's good. It's different. It's sweet. Black Pasta, another bestseller, was a bit sour. The noodles used was kinda similar to pancit bihon. Staff were kind, inviting, and friendly.
My friends and I had a despedida for our friend here the other day; we ended up going to Roberta's because the next-door pasta place was closed. It was a pretty okay experience overall--not WOW but not terrible either. The place has okay interiors, the staff is nice enough, the restroom is clean (yay!), and the food is priced okay--the five of us spent around P200 each and were quite filled up. We had an appetizer plate (P220 for 3): onion rings and crabsticks, hoisin chicken, and 'isaw'--not very isaw-like but good, and the onion rings were more like cups than rings, but they were passable, taste-wise. There was also binagoongang lechon kawali, which was very nice but was more binagoongan than lechon kawali, I guess. It could have been a bit crispier, in my opinion. Next was the pad thai. Now, I've heard a lot about pad thai, and was psyched to finally be able to try it out, but when I did I didn't know if Roberta's take was just different or if pad thai isn't as great as people say it is. In short, it was 'meh' for me. I liked the tang the slices of green mango add, though. Our friend who came late had a solo rice bowl to himself, though I didn't get to ask about it. Warning also: the housewater they serve is infused with pandan, which smells good but tasted weird for me and my friends.

I tried the 'bestseller' Pad Thai with my friends and we can say that it was not that satisfying as it was recommended by the kuya who assisted us. Also, we were constantly asking for water because the pasta was spicy, and it took us how many calls before they address our concern. But overall, the ambiance was okay.
