The ambiance is really chill thanks to the modern interiors and nice lighting. I noticed a cozy private room located above (literally) the bathroom. I suggest you check it out and find out what it actually is! (I didnt ask, but it looked really cool) So, I ordered their tonkatsu. I was surprised at how well-cooked and season the pork was. They also gave a very generous serving of food. Their side dishes were very delicious. Tip: they serve unli-rice from 11-5 mondays to fridays (i think. You can check with them on this). I tried their salmon sashimi -- very fresh! Also, they have fried salmon skin for just 50 pesos per serving (a very generous serving, by the way!) The chef suggested that I order their Nagano dishes next time, as these are his specialty. I will definitely come back!
My husband ordered the sanzokuyaki and I ordered the shake shigure. Both were set meals that included soup, rice and salad. Portions were big. Both meals were delicious. The staff were efficient and very courteous. Will definitely go back.
My favorite japanese resto so far! Love how fresh their sashimis are! And it is quite therapeutic watching Chef Masashi work the sushis. My fave here is the melt in your mouth Buta Kakuni. Must try!
???? If you love Jap food, this place is Legit! The owner is Japanese. He was there 4 out of the 4 times we ate here. He has his own personal Japanese touch on the food that is served. Food is really good. The serving is small though. But hey, you can always order more. Would highly recommend this place. Even the service tea is good. ????????????
Their Chirashi bowl is to die for. Will definitely come back if only for that. Also had umeshu which reminded me of one of my dinners in Tokyo. Not to sweet and alcohol-y unlike the one in Katsu Sora. The quest for umeshu continues! Kampaiiii
