We were looking for a lazy lunch in Rabat where we could enjoy a lovely bottle of wine, water view and great food. Le Dhow ticked off all 3 and more. The restaurant and bar is setup on a boat just near the Medina, it is docked and you are nestled away in the inlet with a beautiful view of the Atlantic watching the waves crashing in and of the Medina. Excellent wine list and food did not disappoint, we skipped entree to enjoy the slow cooked lamb for two and it was divine. Being Australian we are privy to some very good lamb and this was of the highest quality. We did manage to save room for dessert and happy we did, the cheesecake and Apple pie were a treat. The service was exceptional and Luhcen was very attentive. We also were grateful the accepted Credit Cards no questions asked. Definitely a great spot if you are looking to treat yourself to a nice lunch or dinner in Rabat.
Lovely atmosphere, nice view, and very delicious food. The prices are toward higher side, but with good value for money. I liked the most, the risotto with shrimp. It was served with foamy appearance sauce that looks like sea waves. You need to book before arrival.
Very nice experience and very clean. Super friendly staff that sets the tone and on asking about the ships history I was provided me with a book to look at which illustrated the boats history, origins and construction. Would recommend lunch here without any hesitation.
